Weifang Qiaoxin Well-bred Boar Farm was established by Weifang Qiaoxin Feed Industry Co., Ltd., a Singapore single-investor enterprise in 1996 with the total investment of 20 million yuan and the occupation of 550 mu. As a hi-tech large-scale modern cultivation enterprise, it has been appraised as provincial demonstration enterprise by Provincial Agricultural Academy, as standardized demonstration farm by Weifang Municipal Government, as science and technology demonstration park and purebred boar breeding base by Chanle County. In 2001, the company invested more than 15 million yuan and successively founded purebred boar breeding base and cultivation farm of Weifang Qiaoxin Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. Then purebred boars, e.g., Big York, Duluoke, Denmakr Deruisi and Belgian Pitelan etc. were introduced from abroad for cultivaton. The company sells breed boars, sows and porkings and initiates technology to meliorate boar breeds and realize the objective of enriching breeding farmers.
The boar farm is strictly managed according to Singaporean enterprise management system and technology. The production field is located in the field with good isolation conditions. The amount of boars on hand is 2,000 and the annual porking throughput is 40,000. Five thousand purebred boars, 10,000 binary sows and 25,000 out ternary commodity pigs are provided to the society each year. Our products are widely sold all over China.
